What is Najd AgriTech?
Najd AgriTech is a Saudi agricultural technology consultancy based in Riyadh. It plans, designs and supports the operation of hydroponic, soilless farming and greenhouse projects across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, based on field research conducted at an experimental farm in Al-Kharj.
What services do you provide?
Feasibility studies and pre-investment risk assessment, project planning and design, growing-system selection, implementation supervision, operator training, and technical troubleshooting. Scope is defined before each engagement according to project stage.
Which soilless farming system is best for Saudi Arabia?
There is no single best system. Selection depends on crop, water quality, cooling load, energy cost, operator capability, production scale and local access to spare parts and maintenance. Any provider recommending one system before assessing these factors is selling a product, not a solution.
How much does a hydroponic or greenhouse project cost in Saudi Arabia?
Cost depends on location, area, structure type, cooling level, crop, growing system, automation, utilities and local construction requirements. A reliable figure requires a site and production assessment. The investment calculator on this site provides an initial range.
Is hydroponic farming profitable in Saudi Arabia?
Profitability is achievable but not automatic. It is determined mainly by cooling energy cost, water quality and treatment, and the operator's ability to sustain production year-round. Most failed projects fail operationally, not technically.
How are you different from equipment suppliers?
A supplier sells a system. We determine whether the project is worth building at all, and which system fits it. We do not sell equipment or represent suppliers, so recommendations stay tied to the project's interest.
Where do you operate?
Based in Riyadh, serving projects across Saudi Arabia, with consulting support available for Gulf-region projects.
How do we start?
Send us your project location, area, target crop, current stage, estimated budget and main challenges through the contact page. We then determine whether the priority is a feasibility study, a design review, or operational support.
